IEEE Job Site “re-designs” its Web Presence
IEEE, the worldwide association for the advancement of technology has re-designed its Job Site. This unique community of 385,000 members – technology engineers and professionals – can search for new employment among the 3000 leading corporations and organizations that advertise there.
New features of the IEEE Job Site will highlight real-time changes in the global job market, provide information about job searches and salaries, and link to tips on how to prepare for a job interview, create a cover letter and resume. The Webinar and Career Fairs sections contain listings and registration links to upcoming job seeker-related events.
“The IEEE Job Site precisely targets the qualified engineers employers are looking for in one easy-to-use community. This re-design translates into more traffic to the site – a winning situation for employers who are seeking candidates in this professional niche.” said Michael Buryk, Business Development Manager for IEEE Media Recruitment Services.
Jim Vick, publisher of IEEE Spectrum added, “During this tough economy, we have a responsibility to our members to provide career-related information and resources they need in one comprehensive Web site. The IEEE Job Site does exactly that.”
The IEEE Job Site serves more than the membership of IEEE and its associated Technical Societies, focusing on a potential audience of more than 2,000,000 engineers, tech professionals and senior-level managers worldwide.
