The first cross border electronic commercial portal in Southeast Asia and only the third in Asia went into operation at ebay.chodientu.vn and www.ebay.vn on April 27.

For the first time, Vietnamese people can buy or take part in various auctions held in many countries across the world via the internet without having to worry about physical barriers such as payments, shipping, and customs procedures, plus sellers can now trust doing transactions with Vietnam.

The same day, another portal www.nganluong.vn that accepts international payments for eBay and PayPal also was launched.
