FedEx Office Offers Free Service to Job Seekers

If you’ve been trying to land a job these days, you know the search can be a job in itself. In an effort to make the hunt a little easier FedEx office stores throughout the country offered free resume printing Tuesday.

We stopped by the FedEx Office store on Emmett Street in Charlottesville for a few hours. Not many people were taking advantage of this offer but the people who did said they’ll take all the help they can get.

Anyone coming into the store could have 25 free copies of their resume printed. They could even opt for special resume paper.

The job seekers we talked to say the search has been rough, but they remain optimistic.

Job seeker John Anderson said, “The job market’s not real good right now but there are people that are looking for people; just hope I find them.”

“There’re lot less jobs on offer than there were when I was searching for a job before,” shared job seeker Kitty Comeau.

The job seekers say they’ve posted resumes on job websites, checked out online classifieds, and they’ve made multiple contacts, but they’re still coming up short. If you’re an employer, you can check out their resumes by clicking the links.
