    Very useful information. Thank you.

I need to rethink by career strategy if growth is in Healthcare. Since this article came out, I did some investigating myself and all indications say healthcare is the place to be.

I loved the article you posted that had a chart with the Average Manager’s Salaries across 12 states. Do you think you can create one of those charts for 3-5 different Healthcare professional positions? Other than nursing, I’m not sure what other fields to pursue.

If anyone has experience, please let me know.

Very informative ! In fact the Obama administration will soon roll out a revamped healthcare system that will make it affordable once again for most americans.

  4. Jon Turner says:

Isn’t there a chance with the Obama administration rolling out its new healthcare system, that in order to meet the cost containments they are talking about, that there will be a stabalization of salaries or even a reduction in salaries? Likewise with headcount? Otherwise I don’t know how the Obama administration will be able to meet its goals.

On May 11th health care stakeholders pledged with the Obama administration to do their part to reduce the health care spending growth rate, saving more than two trillion dollars over the next ten years — around $2,500 for each American family.
