epage.com seems to be a reasonable choice to me.

  2. Michael Warren says:

I think you left one out of the list. Ocala4sale.com is a regional classified site serving Florida, and ranks above the bottom three according to to Compete.com.

  3. Editor says:

Thanks Michael, you were right. We made updates to the list.
It appears we had also missed the fast-rising ilist.com

  4. Stacey says:

Craigslist won’t be challenged for another decade i think

  5. Stacey says:

The number of visitors to Kijiji sites worldwide was up only 7 percent in January to 23.2 million, while Craigslist grew six times faster and widened the gap. It ended January with 41.4 million unique visitors (according to comScore numbers)

  6. Jack says:

Craigslist’s problem is that it’s not willing to change.

  7. Mike says:

We’re on the list! It’s great to see where everyone stands and the levels of growth that each site is experiencing. There’s a few on the list that I didn’t know about as well.

  8. marketing guru says:

Craigslist has a ton of traffic, true, but as many can attest, you often get more responses when you post on kijiji.

  9. Cherie says:

How does Listasaurus.com rank? They offer online classifieds and auctions, with the option to include a video. And they have a pay-per-listing program that is unique to their site.

  10. sanabs says:

I am surprised Kijiji is number three. I place my ads there and I hardly get any response from anyone is like there is no one @ the other side lol.

  11. Editor says:

    Cherie,
According to Compete, Listasaurus.com had just 7,000-plus visitors in Feb 2009.

  12. AG says:

I was very surprised to not see our job search website listed. http://www.job.com gets approximately 10,000,000 unique visits each month.

We are the 4th or 5th most active job search site in the USA. We get 40 times as much traffic each month as your #15 on your list and we are not there.

Our offerings include job search, resume services, career articles and job searching tips, career management tools, etc.

Please consider putting us in your list.

Hi , I want comment you about a new classifieds site I have been posting my ads. This website has great features that I have not seen in any other classifieds sites. One of the most interesting is that you can post more than one ad at the same time. Tis feature really helps you save time posting ads.In special those persons or companies that need to post multiple items like real estate, used cars agencies, etc.
